Need a Gas Safety Certificate?
Landlords are legally required to get all the gas appliances and flues in their residential property portfolio checked every year and provided with a Gas Safety Certificate (CP12).
This gas safety check must be undertaken by a properly-qualified engineer – i.e. one who is on the Gas Safe Register.
Good News! We can provide a FREE gas safety certificate if you buy our boiler cover or our kitchen and boiler combo policy
Alternatively, we can arrange a gas safety (CP12) inspection as a standalone option anywhere throughout the UK at very competitive prices.
Have you had your electrical installations tested?
In Oct 19 Sections 122 & 123 of the Housing & Planning Act 2016 (electrical safety standards) came into force.
Thus, the introduction of mandatory electrical safety checks in the private rented sector in England won’t be far away – the Govt. has stated, ‘…as soon as parliamentary time allows’.
Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
For the safety of your tenants, it is therefore important to get your electrical installation regularly checked.
Failure to do so could lead to prosecution and may invalidate your Landlord Insurance policy. We can organise an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for you.
